The Wildhearts (one of this countrys finest, yet sorely underated bands) have a new single out, called The New Flesh.
Classic Wildhearts, in my opinion, very catchy and thoughtfully written.

Who says what is right and what is not?
Who says that the vatican haven’t got, stashed away somewhere, the proof that they’re pedling a load of half truths?
Who says that the US goverment does have Alien technology at Area 51?
Who says it is right to kill innocents for what you believe?
Whose to say that ANY member of ANY religion – Muslim, Christian, Jew, Sikh, Bhuddist, Zenist, Athiest (lets face it Dawkins has made it into a religion) or any of the others - has any claim to the truth?
Who says what is more real – the world you feel or the world you think?
Who says that one persons opinion is worth any more than another?
Who says that we have to go along with the someone elses version of the past?
Who says that dinosaurs weren’t fluffy and that they didn’t go squeek when poked?
Who says that the original message from God (or whatever name you want to give the omnipitent power that permiates everything) wasn’t lost thousands of years before anyone put pen to paper and that these days we all just missing the point?
Who says that if you did strap a peice of buttered toast to the back of a cat it wouldn’t spin above the ground?
Who says that light bulbs don’t suck darkness?
Who says that the missing pages to all the holy texts in the world don’t read “All the events, peoples&places depicted in this text or imgainary………….”?
Who says that there can’t be an afterlife without subscribing to a defined set of beliefs?
Who says that a good life is worth less that the pious one?
Who says that big isn’t beautiful?
Who says that corpse thin is attractive?
Who says that doing everything that the dieticians, gurus and specialists is going to get you the life you want?
Who says that you know what kind of a life you want?
Who says that empaths and psychics don’t exist?
Who says that the tourists from the future haven’t already started arriving?
Who says that one day you won’t meet yourself coming the other way?
Who says that you’ve got to be scared?
I know that some of these things can be proved by scientific research but the whole point is this – we are all sentinent beings, we are all capable of independant thoughts. No one has the right to tell you that what you think is untrue or how you feel in invalid. Rejoice in what you are, revel in your quirks and flaws, give the system (the media, the corporations, the goverments and anything else that tells you what to think) the finger and LIVE!
Live in a way that considers the suggestions of others, borrows what works and that goes towards making you happy. We do not have to give into the hate of the past, the bigotry of previous generations, we do not have to settle the scores of history.
There is truly nothing to fear but fear itself – don’t let anyone tell you different!
