Butterflies, Apptitude Tests & Pertitions………Category: Chaos, Random Ramblings | Leave a Comment |

Today I have rediscovered my love a chaos theory and the interconnectedness of all things. The whole butterfly thing is not only cool but proper science! I think it’s ace that it is easier to predict the weather over a huge area than it is within a small area. Then you get to the interconnectedness of all things (Dirk Gently…my hero!) and that’s where life get’s really fun. At some point I would love to have the time and sit down and map out just how connected the things in my life have been and are.
All this has brought to mind a quote, don’t know who originally said it but:
“Life is decided in the small print. A tight decision here, a one-off meeting there, and fortunes are formed and futures made thanks to nothing more than the certainty of chance.”
Whilst googling the above subjects I came across this page Google Apptitude test. Take a look, interesting if nothing else.
Also while you’re here please go and add your name to this Pertition for better access to Talking Therapies on the NHS. It’s a really good cause and I know first hand the good this sort of treatment can do.
Another thing that I’d like to know is, who the smeg decided that cats were graceful elegant creatures? Our old cat (rip), the three we’ve got now and the stray who likes to come round for food are all as clumsy as fek! Yes they can be quite athletic but they are forever falling off things. Oh well, at least they’re smarter than dogs.
Right then I’m off to jump up and down and try to cause a tornado near the White House.
Make toast not war.
