Now I know that when these two subjects appear on the internet (or for that matter in any form of media these days) it normally means that what follows is a arguement putting forward either a fundamentalist creationist arguement or a athiestic evolutionary arguement.

THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE EITHER OF THOSE.

What this is an explanation of what I feel is right, backed up by a scientific p.o.v.
I believe that science gives us the how, where as belief, in this case Christianity, gives us the why. The two need not conflict, one does not disprove the other.
This link is an article I found that confirms that I am not alone in that opinion.

Now I am not about to repeat everything that is put forward in that article but I do want to say that I see no reason that you cannot have faith and hold a common sense, scientific view of the world and our reality.
