So I’m at my OCD group therapy today and we were continueing to talk about Mindfulness as a tool to use to help deal with the condition.
The Therapists mentioned that one of the by products of this is that you appear to slow down time (i.e. relaxing in such a way that you are removed from the rush of the moment and able to act in a more centred way) and it suddenly struck me – what they are describing is exactly the effect that they use in the Matrix films to demonstrate Neo’s one-ness with things.
Instantly something clicked and I got it (if that makes sense), it is something that is going to take a lot of practice at (and I doubt that I’ll be able to dodge bullets or run up walls as a result) but I this is by far one of the most potent tools they have given us on this course.
