…or something like that anyway!.

 I know it’s been ages since my last post….soz about that, what can I say life gets busy sometimes! That and the fact that everytime I get my fat arse in gear and attend my local library to (ab)use their free net access they seem to have a network problem (I’m sure they see me coming and disconnect the router!?!?!).

 There has been many things happening in the world of Gaz since the last post.

I have taken my eldest son Owen to his first gig – MCR at the MEN Arena. I have to say that whilst it might not be metal it was a damn good show and he loved it, plenty of pogoing and head banging – I am sooooooo proud!!!!!!
I’ve also seen some really cool bands in the last month. Mnemic and the Deftones in Birmingham (Tom – it was more that worth the long drive in the middle of a week of nights just to see the look on your face, nevermind the rocking gig!) and Sanctity, Annihilator and Trivium in Bradford. I was well impressed with those guys, especially with them playing in a venue the size of St.Georges – awesome!

On the music front Su has once again proved herself to be the greatest wife in the history of forever….she’s only gone and got me a ticket for the mighty ‘tallica at Wembley for my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And B.T.M.V, HIM and MASTODON(!!!!!!!!!!!!) are supporting them!
Oh – to say I’m happy is a HUGE understatement, and I know my gig buddy cuz Tom feels the same.
It’s going to be one hell of a gig!

 On another note, I have recently reconnected with my muse. I’ve had writers block for so bloody long now I’d almost given up but the ideas have started bouncing into my head from that dark place at the edge of the reality again!
There will soon be some extracts posted on this site for your viewing pleasure, when they appear I’d really like to know what you think.
