So here I sit on a Monday morning with a few minutes to spare and I find myself reflecting on the weekend that has just passed.

Thanks to a recent change in job I once again have my weekends back to spend with my family and friends and, after a few weeks, it is really suiting me and having a positive impact on not only my life but those around me.

This weekend just gone has been filled with junior football as Prospect Juniors Under 15 (of which I am proud to be the Assistant Manager) grabbed a 5-5 draw in what was a frustrating and yet entertaining game.

The other thing my weekend has contained is furniture (how exciting I here you all say). I have dismantled one living room chair with my trusty lump hammer, carried 3 chairs and a sofa around my house and down the road and had the pleasure of a ride in Billy Bongo. The end result? A living room that matches and a half eaten (thanks dogs) chair consigned to the bin.

On a more serious note this Sunday offered the opportunity for reflection andĀ remembranceĀ for all those effected by 9/11. I’m not going to say too much about it here. Those effected should never be forgotten.

Right then I’ve got to go and get off to work. I hope you, dear reader, are well and thank you for your visit – it’s been a little quiet here recently but that is about to change – so make sure you return, won’t you.
