Before you go getting over excited this is not a peice of work revealing the link between kittens and the causes of thunder storms (although come to think of it……….).

As some of  you who live in the same(-ish) sort of area to me will know we had a spectacultar thunder storm the other night. Apart from the cool natural light show, what me it intresting for me was the reaction to it by our 2 kittens.

Dixy, the ginger tom (and the oldest of the 2), walked around for 30 minutes before it began meowing at everything and then went and hid in the bath tub during the storm (why the bath tub and not under one of the beds is beyond me!). Smirnoff, small female ex-stray, on the over hand dosed contently on the rug until the storm was in full fling and then sat on the window sil and watched the lightning!

That’s probably of very little intrest to anyone else out there but it made me smile so I thought I’d share it.

 

Right I’m off to perfect my theory on the fact that light bulbs don’t emit light, they suck darkness – why else would they be black when they have blown (it’s not that the electrical element has gone, it’s the fact it’s full of dark!)………..

Remember the truth is out there…….
