I know this will shock some people – but that’s right it’s the second post of the day (ha! and you thought the Royal Mail had stopped it!?!?!?!)
I just wanted to say that this year is shaping up to be an intresting one.
In the States there is a distinct possibility that there may be a black presidential candidate – and from what I’ve read about him, he’s the best man for the job and certainly offers a chance for a change of tack in the yanks foriegn policy.
Over here, there is a chance that there’ll be a general election – though there is also a good chance that this countrys deep routed political apathy will make it a non-event – for fucks sake people, thousands of brave men died to preserve our right to democracy the least we can do is exercise our democratic right!
I think it is time for the human race to show some it’s famous adaptability – it’s time to sort out the alternative to fossil fuel once and for all, to start righting some of the wrongs created by our forefathers and ensure that our race is capable of survivinf the future – because right now all we are doing is ringing our hands in worry as our ship goes over the edge of the fall.
In general I think that this could be a year of change. There feels to be a change coming in the way things are. When I look at the world around me it’s almost like I can percieve something that I can’t see, touch or smell but can feel none the less.
Whether that is a change for the better or the worst remains to be seen.
